We are a historic Lancaster County bed and breakfast located right next to the historic Pinetown Covered Bridge in Leola, PA. The original house was built in 1860 or thereabout with a substantial addition added in the 1990's. The house has unique features of wall murals, wooden floors and fireplaces. Patty & Jerry purchased the house in April of 2023. We are enjoying making the house and gardens our home to host friends, family and guests.
The property is near Brownstown, PA and overlooks the Conestoga River to the southeast and the Lititz Run to the west. The grounds include a koi pond, and a variety of plants that bloom throughout the year. We are currently (May 2026) finishing up the addition of a pool that will be available to guests. The property has access to the Conestoga River where you can launch a kayak and the Lititz Run which is stocked with trout every spring.
If you enjoy running, there is a 2 mile loop that goes through the Pinetown Covered Bridge or the 3 miles loop that includes the Pinetown Covered Bridge and the Hunsecker's Mill Covered Bridge. Both go along the Conestoga River and pass Amish farmland. For biking enthusiasts, there are a number of biking paths that go past the house including the Covered Bridge Classic ride that happens every August.
The Conestoga Trail goes past the Pinetown Bridge BnB as it follow the Conestoga River for 59 miles from the headwaters in Lebanon County to the Susquehanna River. This route passes many mills, dams, and historic locations that were instrumental in making Lancaster County a hub of activity in the early days of the country.
